Cosaint Sonraí, RGCS & RFC
Tá Oifigeach Cosanta Sonraí (OCS) ag an FTO a bhfuil freagracht fhoriomlán air/uirthi as cosaint sonraí. Is ról reachtúil é an OCS a éascaíonn d’ábhair sonraí a gcearta a chur i bhfeidhm faoi an RGCS agus faoi Acht um Chosaint Sonraí 2018 na hÉireann.
Cosaint Sonraí & Rialachán Ginearálta maidir le Cosaint Sonraí (RGCS)
Data protection laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), set out various obligations where personal data is processed by a company or organisation (the Data Controller). These laws also set out rights for data subjects. This has implications for how the ERC works with schools sharing personal data, with individuals and bodies working in the education sector, with Government Departments and with companies that process personal data on our behalf.

Where a school uses the Drumcondra Online Testing System to administer tests, the ERC holds the role of Data Processor. The Data Processing Addendum, required under the GDPR, along with the DOTS Platform Terms and Conditions of Service, and the DOTS Platform Terms of Use, can be viewed below.
Iarraidh ar Rochtain d’Ábhar Sonraí (IRÁ)
Luaitear san RGCS go bhfuil an ceart ag daoine aonair rochtain a fháil ó eagraíocht ar fhaisnéis faoina sonraí pearsanta. Tá faisnéis faoi pholasaí IRÁ an FTO agus an Fhoirm IRÁ ar fáil thíos.
Tabhair faoi deara: Moltar do dhaltaí, nó do thuismitheoirí daltaí (faoi bhun 18 mbliana d’aois), atá ag iarraidh faisnéise thar ceann a leanaí, a bhFoirm IRÁ a chur isteach tríd an scoil ar a bhfuil an dalta ag freastal uirthi faoi láthair. Tá sé seo amhlaidh chun cabhrú linn do shonraí a chosaint trí chuidiú lena chinntiú go bhfuil an t-iarratas ar fhaisnéis ag teacht ón duine ceart.
