Programme Reviews and Evaluations

Our Programme of Work includes undertaking a number of programme evaluations and studies to support the work of the Department of Education.

These evaluations and studies include:

• Development of a Framework for the Evaluation of Teachers’ Professional Learning (TPL)
• National longitudinal evaluation of the Digital Learning Framework (DLF)
• Measúnú ar an Scéim Aitheantais Scoileanna Gaeltachta / Evaluation of the Gaeltacht Schools Recognition Scheme

The ERC has also undertaken a range of other reviews, analyses and evaluations, which are now completed. These include:

• a study on the educational experiences and ‎outcomes for children with special educational needs on behalf of the NCSE
• evaluations of the JUMP and IMPACT mathematics programmes
• reviews of oral language development, reading and mathematics curricula.
