Test Ordering FAQ

This page is designed to answer the common questions about ordering, delivery and return/exchange of ERC tests.

Ordering paper test materials on DOTS

Go to schooladmin.erc.ie and enter the school’s email and password to log in. If you don’t know or have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot your password?” to set a new one. If this fails, contact dots@erc.ie.

  1. Select “Order Tests” – “Buy Paper Tests” from the panel on the left-hand side of your screen.

  2. Scroll through the available tests and make your selection by clicking “Add to cart”. When complete, click “Next”.

  3. Enter your billing and shipping information. Click “Next”.

  4. Review your order. Click “Pay”.

  5. Select “Credit Card” or “Pay by Invoice”. Enter details. Click “Place Order”.

Ordering online tests on DOTS

  5. Enter credit card details. Click “Place Order”.

To order online tests without a credit card, please generate a sales quote for the online tests you require and email it to dots@erc.ie

How do I get set up on ERC DOTS?

Your school should have received an email on 08/04/2022 – to the school’s official email address. The email contains login credentials for accessing ERC DOTS, along with links to short videos to help you get started.

The sender’s address was noreply@qemailserver.com, please check your spam folder if you haven’t received it in your inbox.

If you did not receive this email, please email dots@erc.ie.

The system won’t open. What should I do?

For teachers, the URL is: https://schooladmin.erc.ie

(if you are new to ERC DOTS, please use the initial link in the original email you received containing your login details).

Please email dots@erc.ie if you are having difficulty accessing the system.

How do I cancel my order?

Send an email to tests@erc.ie quoting the order number and roll number and follow the instructions you receive.

Can I purchase materials without a credit card?

All of our online tests must be purchased with a credit card.

All of our paper based materials can be paid for with a credit card OR by requesting an invoice.

If you wish to be invoiced, in step 4 of the ordering just click on “Make Payment” and select “ Pay by Invoice”.

Once your order is completed and confirmed you will receive an email confirmation of your order and an invoice for the order within a few days.

How do I change my order?

Users of the online ordering system are responsible for checking that their orders are correct.

If the status of your order is “Unfulfilled” in your DOTS Order Tracking screen, you can change or amend your order. Click on “Select Option” and select “Amend”.

You can then either delete the unwanted item by clicking on the recycle bin icon or add additional items to your order by clicking on “Add Product”.

Please note this option is ONLY available is your order is unfulfilled.

Once your order is processed and shipped, your order can no longer be changed.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation email. What do I do?

You should receive a confirmation on completion of the order. If you have not received the confirmation check your spam folder at the email address provided.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please email tests@erc.ie.

How much does delivery cost?

The costs is automatically added to the order based on the weight of the order.

Where is my postal tracking number?

You should have received the tracking numbers with your email confirmation of shipment.

The tracking number is also available in the order history section of your account.

If you are still unable to find your tracking numbers please email tests@erc.ie with your roll number and order number if available.

My delivery isn’t here yet. What do I do?

Check the tracking number which should be listed in your confirmation email and on your order history page. Processing and shipment times vary depending on volumes of orders.

What happens if my package is damaged or lost?

If your package is damaged or lost in transit please email tests@erc.ie.

What is the ERC's returns policy?

Test booklets and answer sheets may be returned, subject to:

  • Having been purchased within the previous 6 weeks.
  • Them being in original, unbroken packages (loose items will not be credited).
  • All returns are subject to a handling charge of 10%

Items not sold in packages (stencils, manuals) are not returnable.

How do I return an order?

To return an order, please ensure the items to be returned comply with the ERC returns policy below. Any items which do not meet the criteria cannot be credited.

Test booklets and answer sheets may be returned, subject to:

  • Having been purchased within the previous 6 weeks.
  • Them being in original, unbroken packages (loose items will not be credited).

Items not sold in packages (stencils, manuals) are not returnable

 

1. Log into your DOTS account at https://schooladmin.erc.ie

2. Select ‘Order Tracking’.

3. Select ‘Return’ from the ‘Options’ drop-down box, to the right of the order you wish to return items from. If you are returning items from multiple orders, you must process them as separate returns

4. Select a reason for the return from the drop-down box

5. Enter the quantity you wish to return in the corresponding box to the right of the product.

6. Once complete, Click Save.

7. Confirm you have read the terms of the ERC Returns Policy

8. A return packing slip will be emailed to the address provided on the order. Print this and enclose with the items to be returned.

9. Send the items to ERC – Test Department.

An incorrect item has been sent. How do I exchange it?
