Helena began working in the ERC in July 2020 as a Research Assistant, and is currently working on the Gaeltacht Schools Recognition Scheme. Helena’s research interests lie primarily in the areas of sociolinguistics and gender studies. Because of her Gaeltacht background, she also has a keen interest in the role of minority languages within the education system. Helena holds a B.A. in Gaeilge and History from the University of Limerick.
