George joined the ERC in July 2020 where he has been working on the new online testing system for primary and post-primary schools. He previously worked as an ESL teacher in Ireland and abroad. He holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from UCC and an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology from DBS.​
