Eemer Eivers, B.A. (Mod)., Ph.D.

Research Fellow

Eemer is a Research Fellow at the ERC. She is currently on extended leave of absence, ‎during which she has worked with IEA, NFER and Malta’s Education Ministry. Her work in the ‎ERC included evaluations, test development, and large-scale assessments. She led two ‎cycles of the National Assessments, and managed Ireland’s participation in a number of large ‎international assessment studies, including PIRLS, TIMSS, and PISA. She has also worked ‎extensively in Northern Ireland, where she contributed to a review of the Common Funding ‎Scheme (for schools), and was a member of the Literacy and Numeracy Taskforce. A member ‎of the ERC staff since 1997, her degree and Ph.D. are from Trinity College, Dublin.‎
