Eemer is a Research Fellow at the ERC. She is currently on extended leave of absence, working as a consultant for the IEA. She is responsible for the development and roll out of the Drumcondra Online Testing System (DOTS), including the development of the new Drumcondra Reasoning Test. Previously, she developed test content for Ireland’s National Assessments, and managed Ireland’s participation in a number of large international assessment studies, including PIRLS, TIMSS, and PISA. She has also worked extensively in Northern Ireland, where she contributed to a review of the Common Funding Scheme (for schools), and was a member of the Literacy and Numeracy Taskforce. A member of the ERC staff since 1997, her degree and Ph.D. are from Trinity College, Dublin.
