Des is a Research Assistant at the ERC and works on developing content for the Drumcondra Primary Maths Tests as well as working on standardisation of the computerised versions of the DRT, DPMT and DPRT. Des has a B.Sc. in Applied Psychology from UCC, an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology from TCD, a Higher Diploma in Statistics from TCD and is completing his PhD in Psychology at TCD. His PhD research deals with attitudes to testing, attitudes to technology and how this relates to test performance in traditional pen and paper and computerised testing.
