Cathy joined the ERC in 2015 and is currently part of the teams evaluating DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) and preparing the PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) 2015 national report. Previously, Cathy worked as a researcher at the Centre for Social and Educational Research (CSER) at Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), and more recently as an independent research consultant. Cathy has more than ten years’ experience lecturing part-time on the early childhood education and social care programmes at DIT. She holds a BA Honours in Psychology from University College Dublin, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Psychology from University of Ulster, and has a PhD in progress at DIT.
